What Is a Bathroom Vanity Project, and Is It Right for You?

A vanity project replaces or upgrades the cabinet, countertop, and sink that anchor your bathroom. It’s a high-impact update on its own, and a key piece of any larger remodel.

It’s time if the cabinet has water damage or swelling, the top is cracked or dated, or you simply need more storage and counter space. A vanity swap can modernize the whole room without touching the rest of the bathroom.

We install stock and fully custom vanities, single- and double-sink configurations, and floating (wall-hung) vanities for a modern look. The right choice depends on your space, your storage needs, and how many people share the bathroom.

Our Vanity Installation Process

We measure the space, confirm the plumbing locations, and design the vanity in 3D so you can see the cabinet, top, and sink together. Your final price is set in writing up front.

Our in-house crew disconnects the plumbing, removes the old vanity and top, and checks the wall and floor for any hidden water damage before installing the new one.

As master plumbers, we handle the sink and faucet plumbing ourselves, including a sink replacement or a move if the new layout calls for it. That keeps the whole job with one team.

We set and level the vanity, install the top and sink, connect the plumbing, and review the finished piece with you, along with the warranty that applies to your fixtures.

Vanity, Countertop & Storage Options

A custom vanity is built to your exact width, height, and storage needs, and a double-sink vanity lets two people get ready at once, a favorite for shared and primary bathrooms. We’ll design the drawers and cabinets around what you actually store.

Floating vanities mount to the wall with open floor space beneath, for a clean, modern look that also makes a small bathroom feel bigger. One honest note: they carry real weight, so we anchor them into solid wall blocking, not just drywall.

Choose a quartz, granite, or solid-surface vanity top with an undermount or vessel sink. We help you match the top and sink to your cabinet and the rest of the bathroom. Compare finishes on our Materials & Lifetime Warranty page.

Why Choose Us

We build custom vanities and handle the plumbing under one roof, so your cabinet, top, sink, and faucet all come from the same team. No juggling a cabinet company and a separate plumber. Pair a vanity with new Bathroom Fixtures or Bathroom Flooring.

We’re a licensed general contractor (ROC 365652) and master plumber (ROC 367067), bonded and insured, with in-house crews and about 50 years of combined experience. Selected acrylic, crushed-stone, and fixture products carry a true lifetime warranty; ask which coverage applies to your vanity and top. This is part of our full Bathroom Remodeling services.

Bathroom Vanity Cost Factors & Timeline

The main drivers are stock versus custom, single versus double, the countertop material, and whether the plumbing needs to move. We measure your space and give you a clear written price up front, with no change orders after demolition.

A straight vanity swap that keeps the plumbing in place is one of our quicker projects. Moving the sink or plumbing, or building a custom vanity, adds time. After we measure, we’ll give you a realistic schedule.

How long does a bathroom remodel take?

What's the difference between a stock and a custom vanity?

A stock vanity comes in set sizes and finishes and installs faster and cheaper. A custom vanity is built to your exact dimensions, storage needs, and style, which is worth it for odd-sized spaces or specific storage. We’ll help you decide which fits your bathroom and budget.

If the wall is wide enough, yes. A double-sink vanity usually needs about five feet of width to be comfortable. We’ll measure your space and let you know honestly whether a double vanity fits or whether a single with more storage is the better call.

A floating vanity mounts to the wall with open space beneath, giving a modern look and making a small room feel larger. They work well, but because they carry weight, they need solid wall blocking behind them, which we add during installation.

We can replace just the vanity, top, and sink on their own, no full remodel required. It’s one of the highest-impact updates you can make by itself. Of course, it also pairs well with flooring, fixtures, or a larger bathroom project.

Quartz is a popular pick because it’s nonporous and low-maintenance. Granite offers a natural stone look, and solid-surface tops are seamless and budget-friendly. We’ll walk you through the tradeoffs so the top fits your look and your upkeep preferences.
